With her new film, My Love Affair With Marriage which garnered great attention at world festivals, visionary director Signe Baumane's festival stop this November is Ankara Film Festival. With a selection of her shorts, 2 feature films, and captivating presentations, the New Master will be paying a visit to the Ankara audience.

For the premiere of her new film My Love Affair With Marriage, Latvian director and New York resident Signe Baumane is visiting Ankara Film Festival. Having had its World Premier at Tribeca Film Festival, the film had its European premiere at Annecy International Film Festival winning the Jury Distinction award. Her first feature-length film Rocks in my Pockets will be screened at the festival as well. In addition to this, a collection of Signe Baumane's unique short films will be available for the festival audience with a special presentation from Signe Baumane herself. Talking about women who rebel against social pressures, her films also harbor themes of sexuality, love, family, and women's problems in her own  humorous way while showing the distinction between reality and fantasy in a masterful way.
