Prof. Dr. Jale Nejdet Erzen is entitled for The Oak of Art Award of the 26th Ankara International Film Festival, for her significant contributions to both art criticism in our country with her magazine “Boyut” in 1980’s and realisation of numerous exhibitions, conferences and publications with Sanart–that she founded, that gave direction to the art scene in Ankara and Turkey, for leaving immortal works for future generations in numerous art related fields including, Ottoman Architecture (especially about Sinan the Architect), Contemporary Art and Aesthetics, with her books and manuscripts, for representing our country abroad successfuly by promoting Turkey as the vice-president of the International Association for Aesthetics and for her contributions to the art of painting with her original works since the 1970’s.
