80 year old widow Montoa is preparing for her end by arranging her funeral. But her hometown is being converted into a dam and the residents are being forced to resettle. Mosese’s 2019 drama was selected as Lesotho's Academy Award entry but did not receive a nomination. The film was screened at Venice IFF, Rotterdam FF and Sundance FF.

Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese
Mosese, Mosotho'lu bir senarist, görsel sanatçı ve film yönetmenidir. Küçük, terk edilmiş bir topluluk salonunda 16 mm B filmleri izleyerek büyüyen yönetmen, film yapmaya başlamadan önce şiir yazmaya başladı. Şiirle olan ilişkisi gelecekte çekeceği filmler için bilgili kararlar vermiş olmalı ki filmleri güçlü şiirsel imgelerin yanı sıra çocukluk anılarını, kimliğini, fiziksel ve mecazi ölümünü de içermektedir. Filmleri minimum diyaloga sahiptir ve genellikle politika ve maneviyat temalarını uygular. Eleştirmenlerce beğenilen ilk filmi Mother, I am Suffocating. This Is My Last Film About You. Lesotho’dan sürülüşünü anlatmaktadır.
Mosese is a screenwriter, visual artist and a film director from Mosotho. He grew up watching 16mm B movies at a small abandoned community hall. Before he started making films, he started writing poetry. His involvement with poetry must have informed decisions for the films he would make in the future, as his films incorporate strong poetic imagery as well as his childhood memories, identity, physical and metaphorical death. His films have minimal dialogue and often implement themes of politics and spirituality. His first critically acclaimed film titled Mother, I am Suffocating. This Is My Last Film About You. told the story of his exile from Lesotho.
