Film Director Onur Ünlü will chair the national feature film competition jury of the 26th Ankara International Film Festival
Onur Ünlü graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences, Department of Communication Design and Management. He then received his master’s degree from Marmara University Faculty of Communication. He worked as a scriptwriter in various TV serials starting from 1999. He wrote, directed and produced his debut film “The Police” in 2006. He directed “Leyla and Mecnun”, which became a social media phenomenon between 2011-2013. He received numerous awards for his films Five Cities (2009), The Extremely Tragic Story of Celal Tan and His Family (2011), Thou Gild’st the Even (2013) and I have an Objection (2014). He will chair the jury of the national feature film competition of the Ankara International Film Festival which will be held between 23 April – 03 May 2015.
